It’s official. By popular vote at the Movie in the Park event on October 19, our park is now Pirate Playground. Kids from Southside, Emma Love, Yulee Primary, and Yulee Elementary Schools as well as St. Michael Academy contributed a total of 37 different names for consideration. Maddie Millar, 3rd grader in Mrs. Doyle’s class at Emma Love Hardee Elementary School submitted the winning name. For her creative efforts, Maddie won free ice cream from Fantastic Fudge for her whole class.
